DLDAV Pitampura committed towards Peace and Environment

DLDAV Model School Pitampura celebrated ENO tree Planting Day on 21^st September 2014 to mark the 10^th anniversary for International Day for Peace,We planted trees in the school premises. The students also clicked selfies with the placard ‘I plant a tree for peace’. Students shared their thoughts about how important it is to live in a peaceful world, peaceful country and city, and what Peace means to everybody and to all our community. Our school has been awarded certificate of commendation for our commitment to the cause of peace and environment. 

World Teachers Day

World Teachers' Day is celebrated on October 05, 2014. The day, which is held annually, commemorates teachers' organizations worldwide. Its aim is to mobilize support for teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers. Today World Teachers' Day is observed in more than 100 countries. World Teachers' Day represents a significant token of the awareness, understanding and appreciation displayed for the contribution that teachers make to education and development.
