INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT

A JEWEL IN THE CROWN

Our school participated in the 2011-12 International Schools Essay Competition organized by Living Rainforest on account of International Decade of Biodiversity declared by the UN. The essays, addressed to Mr. UN Secretary General, on the topic “How can we contribute to make our Earth a Sustainable Planet, were submitted online by the two Teacher Coordinators Ms. Pratibha Bhatia and Ms. Neeta Chhabra.

Out of about 576 essays from Secondary schools and 273 from Primary schools, 14 of our students have been selected in the two categories.

Two students Muskan Mehta and Ajitesh of class VII have been selected as the Finalists and 12 students have been awarded Honourable Mentions. These students are:

We feel proud for being selected among three schools from all over India and are invited to UK to attend the Debate and Prize Giving Ceremony to be held on 17th May 2012.
