VISIT BY UK DELEGATION TO DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL PITAMPURA

A four member student delegation along with their teacher Ms. Kate Murry from the Hollins Technology College, Accrington, UK visited Darbari Lal DAV Model School Pitampura on Monday July 7, 2014.This visit was in continuation of our partnership with UK school through Face to Faith Program under the aegis of Tony Blair Faith Foundation. The UK delegation continued their dialogue with the students of our school from a series of video conferences that we have had together. The delegation also participated in many activities such as dancing and singing and also played football with the school football team. They also visited the CBSE- i wing of the school and appreciated the learning methodologies being followed in the transaction of international curriculum for grades I to V.  The delegation also got an insight into the education system and lifestyle of India as the students attended classes and interacted with their Indian buddies.  The  delegation was awestruck by the hospitality of the host school and one of the students from the delegation remarked, 'It was a remarkable experience for us for we got to learn so much through this visit”. DLDAV Model School Pitampura looks forward to more such exchange visits by partner schools in the near future.
