D.L.D.A.V Model School,
Pitampura organized MILIEUX -2014, a live project and exhibition on the small
islands of the globe as part of the celebration of The International Year of Small
Island Developing States. The event
aimed to recognize the contribution
made by this group of countries to the world.
It also tried to create awareness of the vibrant and distinct cultures,
diversity and heritage of the people of these islands. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs. Rashmi
Gahlaut, Deputy Director of Education, Ms. Purti Kohli,
Coordinator - ISA Programmes, British Council, Shri S.C. Gupta, Manager of the
school, Mr. Sudhanshu Malhotra, CEO, Webcom and Alumni Student. The guests expressed delight at the
outstanding presentations of the classes and the zealous involvement of the
students. Mrs. Anita Wadehra
congratulated the staff and students for putting up a spectacular show and help
fulfill the aim of the event.
